“ I stopped into Taco House on their opening day! Definitely one of the better tacos in town!! They only do Mexican style tacos. They leave the corn tortillas on the grill a bit so the tortilla doesn’t fall apart, they have a hint of a crunch and I like it! The salsas are very good. The steak is his own recipe and not like any place in town. I’d say that it has an American flavor to the steak but it’s very good! I’d say definitely the best flavored steak flavor for a taco in town! I really think he hit a home run with the al pastor! It is fantastic! Very Mexican and authentic! The beef tongue was shredded and I prefer cubed but the flavor was very good. They put the most meat in the taco than any other place in town! I would order all of these again!! I’ve also tried the Torta and I am a fan! I am a huge fan of the Torta Cubana and other than no milanesa and chorizo omelet inside, it is fantastic! Probably my favorite Torta in the Fox Valley. I will say, if the exterior of the bun gets grilled, this Torta may be the only sandwich I eat in town! I will be back!!! Welcome to the food scene Taco House!! ”
